Parish Eucharist
Our main service is the 10:00 am Parish Eucharist every Sunday. This is a sung service with organ and choir.
Lay people assist the priest at the altar, read lessons and intercessions, welcome people at the door and offer refreshments at the end of services. Everyone is welcome to volunteer for any of these ministries.
Children
Children are welcome at all our services and a dedicated corner with toys and books is available in church for the younger ones. Appointed volunteers run a Sunday Club in the Parish Institute across the road during the Sunday service, with children joining the rest of the congregation at the time of Holy Communion and giving a short presentation of the work they have done that morning. On the last Sunday of the month children remain in church taking active part at different moments; the sermon is replaced by a dynamic presentation with the involvement of children.
Baptisms of children normally take place on the second Sunday of the month during the 10:00 am Parish Eucharist or at 12:00. To arrange a Baptism please contact Fr Nicholas on nicholas.lopolito@stmartinleeds.org.uk.
A Youth Group for 16-19 year-olds meets normally every Friday at the Vicarage from 4:30 to 6:00 pm for discussions and to organise outings and other activities together. If interested please contact Fr Nicholas.
Weekdays
We normally hold a short Holy Communion service every Wednesday at 9.30 am; an opportunity for some quiet, reflective worship.
Holy Days and Seasons
We have a special programme of services at special times in the Church calendar, that will be advertised as they happen.
